La foglia. Le foglie.

Un simbolo, una figura, un soggetto.

Una declinazione in più varianti di quello che è diventato il mio stilema. Un modo di interpretare la mia pittura con una continuità, pur variando lo stile, ma soprattutto per una unicità di interpretazione ed esclusività.

Queste foglie, che riprendono quelle che disegnano i bambini, vanno via via valorizzate come albero, come corpo di un improbabile pesce, come soggetto pop.

Il tutto era nato dalla ricerca, dalla necessità di avere un mio stile personale che nulla avesse a che fare con altri artisti. La necessità di non assomigliare a nessuno per non banalizzare il mio lavoro. E nel tempo al paesaggio si è aggiunto quello che io chiamo “la mia seconda anima” e poi adesso il modo di questi pesci, sempre improbabili, ma coloratissimi, e poi altri animali.

Credo che ogni artista abbia la sua tavolozza, che identifico, nel mio caso, con la personalità, l’entusiasmo, la voglia ed il piacere di dipingere.

A symbol, a figure, a subject.

A declination in several variations of what has become my style. A way of interpreting my painting with continuity, while varying the style, but above all for a uniqueness of interpretation and exclusivity.

These leaves, which take up those that children draw, are gradually enhanced as a tree, as the body of an unlikely fish, as a pop subject.

Everything was born from research, from the need to have my own personal style that had nothing to do with other artists. The need not to look like anyone so as not to trivialize my work. And over time, what I call “my second soul” has been added to the landscape and now the way these fish are, always unlikely, but very colorful, and then other animals.

I believe that every artist has his own palette, which I identify, in my case, with personality, enthusiasm, the desire and the pleasure of painting.
